There is a $25.00 cash room deposit which is due when the employee moves into housing.  The deposit is returned to the employee when he/she moves out of housing at the end of their employment (once their room has been inspected and it is determined there is no damage to the room and their room key has been returned).  Further information will be provided upon hire.

Mission House - Kitchen

This is a typical kitchen in Mission House which is shared by three to six employees.  There is a refrigerator(s), stove and microwave in each of the kitchens.  Although kitchens are stocked with a few cooking items, employees will need to bring plates, glasses, silverware, food, and cooking and food storage containers.

If you forget to bring items or prefer to wait to purchase items until you reach the Straits of Mackinac area, there is a Wal-Mart and K-Mart in Cheboygan which is approximately 15 miles from Mackinaw City and a small IGA for groceries in Mackinaw City.  There are also a couple of small grocery stores located on Mackinac Island.
